Yes! You may often wonder where your questions go or if you will ever hear back when contacting companies via Contact Form. Your questions are very important to us and we do respond to each and every submission (okay, except for occasional junk)!
Here's what happens: Your submissions are sent directly to a specific address which is consistently monitored throughout the day and will alert us of new submissions. We do our best to respond within 4 (business) hours, but often, we may be able to respond sooner (during business hours Monday - Friday 8-5 CST, excluding major holidays). You will receive a contact name and toll-free phone number along with your response so that you may call us personally if you wish!
*Please Note* We do receive a larger number of inquiries over the weekend which will take additional time to respond to once we return on Monday morning. We will give priority to those issues that require immediate attention.
For Example: If you place an order and need to make a correction before shipment such as address or air filter size/type, we will consider that a priority and resolve the issue as soon as possible!
Yes! You are welcome to send your questions to our fax (816) 322-9529. All fax inquiries are delivered to our Internet Sales Department where they are read and responded to in the same manner as Contact Forms sent through our site.

Once you have submitted your order, you will see a printable Order Summary page with your order # and details of the order. This will be followed directly by a confirmation email. If this did not occur after submitting your order, please contact us and provide us with the name that the order was placed under (billing name). We'll confirm whether the order was successful and if not, you can try again online or we will help you over the phone!
If you made a mistake on your order, please contact us as soon as possible. We will make every attempt to correct the order before shipment!
We are only required to add sales tax to Missouri orders.
Our production team does a great job of keeping our air filter sizes stocked. Our inventory management software system consistently monitors our stock levels in real time. We have a separate full-time production team dedicated solely to internet orders.
If you place an order and your item is not in stock at that time, you will probably never even know the difference! Production orders are immediately generated for these items which will usually be made and ready to ship in 24 hours.
Note: While there are many air filter types that we manufacture here (including custom air filter options), there are some that we do not carry in stock such as many of our Whole House Air Cleaner replacement filters. These are ordered from a reliable supplier that ships our orders directly to you within 24 hours of receiving the order from us. We place orders for these air filter types at least twice daily to ensure that your wait time will be as short as possible! As a rule, these air filter orders will ship to you within 48 hours.

Yes, bulk pricing is offered for orders of 25+ cases that are ordered at the same time on the same orderbeing delivered to the same location. This pricing is ideal for businesses and property management companies that do not order enough to qualify for wholesale pricing, but yet still order several cases at a time. Please contact us if you would like a quote!
Note: The ability for us to offer a discounted rate for bulk purchases is due to the savings associated with the shipment of the order. It costs less to send a single bulk shipment to a location in comparison to shipping the order as 25 separate pieces.
Exceptions: If you have a large order of Pleated Filters that comes close to the 25 case minimum, we may still be able to offer you a discounted rate. The amount of the discount and the number of required cases to purchase to achieve a discounted rate will largely depend on your location in proximity to our location in Missouri.
Arm & Hammer filters were discontinued by the manufacturer in 2008. They were available through us for several months following as we stocked a large supply of this line. Due to the ongoing demand and the desire for a comparable replacement filter, we have introduced our own line of MERV 8 SB40 Baking Soda Pleated Filters.
These are made with sodium bicarbonate-infused media and offer the same filtering properties as Arm & Hammer Standard.

All internet orders are shipped via FedEx Ground. We do not require a signature on residential deliveries, but a signature will be obtained for business deliveries.

We ship orders Monday - Friday every week, excluding major holidays. Internet shipments are picked up at 4:00pm Central M-F. Most orders ship within 24 hours. Customs and special orders usually ship within 48 hours.

No, please don't do that! We prefer to send you the proper size air filters the first time. Guessing is never a good idea when it comes to ordering air filters online. Air filters can be very expensive to ship. Some sizes require large cases that have shipping fees based upon their size which can increase the fees greatly. It can cost anywhere from $9.00 for smaller cases up to $35 for the largest cases. You would be responsible for return shipping fees in addition to a shipping retrieval fee for the cost of our original shipping fees to ship the order to you. Note: We understand that mistakes will happen and returns will be necessary, but we want to do whatever we can to assist you in choosing the correct size to begin with to help you avoid this! Please contact us to assist you if you are unsure of your size and we will help you get the correct size!
No. Custom filters may not be returned. Customs are made exactly as you order. They are made specifically for you. That is why it is very important that you are certain of your exact size before you order.
If you are not absolutely sure of the size you need, please ask us for help and we will be able to help you order the correct size!
What is your Return Policy? If you have ordered the incorrect air filter by mistake, we do accept returns on (unused in new condition) standard stock filters. You will be responsible for return shipping. Once the air filter is received, you will receive a credit less the shipping fees that we paid to ship the original order to you. Please contact us for an RMA# and we will advise you of the original shipping fees and the amount that you can expect to be credited for the returned air filter. If you want to exchange your air filter for the correct size, we will be happy to assist you and handle the transaction as simply as possible! Returns are usually processed within 3 business days once received. A receipt for the credit will be forwarded to you via email.
Yes, but not in one transaction. A new order will need to be placed for the correct size. Note: We would like to be able to do this without requiring a new order, but we are unable to do so because of fraud/security regulations put in place to protect you that we must follow.

Although shipping is free to the customer, there are still shipping charges that are paid on every order. These charges are not added to your order as they are paid by us.
This is a benefit that we are happy to offer on all filter orders, but we are only able to cover these charges 1 time for each order that is kept by the customer.
If you have made a mistake and need to return your air filter, the original shipping fees that you saved on the order will be deducted from the refund. This does not apply if we have made an error in shipment.

Most filters will be labeled with an airflow arrow that is on one or more sides of the filter. The arrow is pointing to the back of the filter. You should install your air filter so that the air is flowing in the same direction that the arrow is pointing on your air filter.

If you want to accurately determine exactly how long you can use each air filter (allowing you to get the most use out of each air filter and allow for optimum system performance), you may want to consider installing an air filter gauge.

Activated Carbon Air Filters are not really rated for a particular amount of time (such as 90 days) like other pleated filters. They will continue to do the job of protecting your equipment and capturing particles for the same amount of time as a Standard Pleated air filter in the same size.
However, Activated Carbon filters are primarily used for the purpose of removing strong and offensive odors. There are tiny pores in the Carbon material that are activated when exposed to the air. The odor particles are collected in these pores. Once they are full, the air filter will lose its ability to remove odors from the air. So, when you begin to notice that the air filter is no longer effective at removing odors, it will need to be changed.
