Severe Odors

Sometimes, there is a need for more serious odor control.  Maybe you have lots of furry family members or more than the average number of litter boxes.  Perhaps you have large family with more than enough laundry to keep up with.  Or, you might be looking to control tobacco smoke or nearby environmental odors.  If you have alot of potential for strong odors in your home, you are a candidate for an Activated Carbon air filter.

Definition of Activated Carbon:

Carbon, also known as charcoal, can be processed to create a very porous material with a large surface area capable of  trapping a variety of airborne chemicals, odors, and gases.  This is Activated Carbon, also known as Activated Charcoal.

Facts About Carbon:
  • An Activated Carbon air filter has numerous bonding sites and molecular pores which trap and chemically bond to offensive odors and airborne contaminants.
  • When the pores are filled to capacity, the filter will need to be changed.
  • An Activated Carbon filter is by far the most effective method of removing strong odors from your home.  These odors include pet odors, food and cooking odors, tobacco smoke odors, and chemical and industrial fumes
