Air Filter Construction

The disposable heating and air conditioning filter is furnished with a one-piece chipboard frame. This feature eliminates the problems associated with four-piece frame, such as broken corners and exposed metal edges.

The Synthetic Modified Channel air filter utilizes a heat seal to bond the frame to the filter media maximizing filter face area and extending service life.

The media is made of 100% nonwoven polyester synthetic fibers chemically bonded with a fire retardant resin. Constant denier size of the fiber enables the media to attain a higher efficiency. Because of the synthetic nature of the fiber, the media is extremely resistant to moisture and other environmental extremes.
