Staphylococcus is a group of bacteria that can cause a multitude of diseases as a result of infection of various tissues of the body. Staphylococcus is more commonly known as Staph. Staph-related illness can range from mild and requiring no treatment to severe and potentially fatal.
Testing Process: Your test kit will be mailed to you along with everything needed for the testing process. Once you complete the test, you will return it to the lab using the postage-paid envelope provided. Your results will be emailed in PDF format in 7-10 business days after the lab receives your test.
Your Results: EDLab (Environmental Diagonostics Laboratory), accredited by the AIHA (American Industrial Hygiene Association), will provide a final report included in the cost of the test. The report will show quantitative results given in terms of Colony Forming Units (CFUs). A comprehensive laboratory report is provided upon completion. A toll-free phone number for the lab is provided if you should have any questions concerning your results.
